Why the spray test matters
A product can look correct in photos and still create support issues after launch. A repeatable spray test helps buyers review the product as it will be used, packed, and supported.
The test should compare the actual airbrush, compressor, hose, media, nozzle, and accessories proposed for the order.
Record the test conditions
Write down:
- airbrush and compressor SKU
- nozzle and needle size
- paint or liquid type and preparation
- hose, adapter, regulator, and moisture trap
- pressure setting and spray distance
- surface and test pattern
- cleaning method between colors
Without these conditions, a result cannot be reproduced reliably.
Test five practical behaviors
Check startup, fine-line control, broad spray, continuous use, and restart after cleaning. Look for pulsing, dry spray, spidering, tip dry, uneven atomization, leaks, difficult trigger movement, or parts that are hard to clean.
The goal is not to make one sample look perfect. It is to understand where the product performs well and where the instructions or kit configuration need adjustment.
Review service readiness
Confirm replacement needle and nozzle availability, cleaning tools, hose fittings, spare parts packaging, and the support information that will be included with the final product.
A stable spray result with no reorder or service plan is not yet a complete wholesale program.
Approve with written conditions
The bulk approval record should state the approved configuration, test media, open changes, packaging version, document scope, and sign-off owner. If a part or compressor changes later, repeat the relevant test before production.
