Airbrush Importer Sourcing Checklist

Start with the range you actually want to import

An importer should define the first product range before comparing factories. A useful starting range may include a detail airbrush, a wider-coverage option, a mini compressor, a kit configuration, and a small spare-parts pack.

Do not begin with a long list of unrelated SKUs. Define the target channel, price band, application, packaging level, and expected reorder pattern first.

Supplier questions to answer before sampling

Ask each supplier to confirm:

• which airbrush and compressor SKUs are currently available
• nozzle, needle, feed, cup, pressure, and plug or voltage options
• standard kit contents and optional accessories
• standard packaging and private-label packaging scope
• sample timing, MOQ, production timing, and reorder process
• available export, quality, and product documentation

The goal is not to collect the longest catalog. It is to identify a range that can be sampled, explained, packed, and reordered consistently.

Review the sample as a system

Test the airbrush with the proposed compressor, hose, paint or liquid, and cleaning process. Check spray consistency, trigger feel, nozzle access, hose connection, moisture behavior, and the clarity of the instruction materials.

A sample that performs well alone may still be a poor import program if the compressor pairing, plug configuration, carton, or spare-parts plan is unclear.

Confirm the commercial handoff

Before approval, record the target SKU list, packaging version, label files, barcode requirements, plug and voltage, documents required for the destination market, and the exact RFQ assumptions.

For a new range, MOQ from 50 units can be used as a starting discussion point, subject to SKU mix, packaging, and configuration.

Final importer checklist

Before placing the first order, confirm:

• product range and SKU codes
• sample approval notes
• carton and inner-pack requirements
• plug, voltage, label, and manual configuration
• certification and document scope by SKU
• production lead-time target
• reorder and spare-parts contact

A clear checklist protects the importer from approving a product while leaving the commercial program undefined.
